Living Fully Sevierville has 9 resident-created interest groups and a highly active community in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. 85% of residents actively participate through a resident platform called Cobu, sharing restaurant discoveries, organizing potlucks, and bonding over outdoor activities and small-town Tennessee life.
Events include Kickoff to Summer Pool Parties, Mother's Day Succulents and Sweet Tea, Bingo Bash Game Nights, Breakfast on the Go (consistently the highest-RSVP event), resident-organized potluck meet-and-greets, porch and patio decorating contests, and seasonal celebrations.
Yes - residents offer babysitting, share gift-wrapping help during holidays, recommend local groomers, organize potlucks, and give shout-outs to community staff. One resident described the community events as "what makes places feel like home."
Residents have organized 9 groups including Local Events (32 members), Arts and Crafts (30 members), Foodie Group (26 members), Dog Group (20 members), Music (15 members), Tasting Club (15 members), Support Small Businesses (13 members), Health and Wellness (12 members, evening run club and workout groups), and Car Enthusiasts (11 members).
The Dog Group has 20 members and there's an on-site dog park. Residents share training tips, arrange mid-day dog walking for neighbors with long work schedules, and post about local pet resources including the Sevier County Animal Shelter.
The most-recommended spots are The Local Goat, Blue Moose ("best burger in Sevier County"), Pottery House Cafe at The Old Mill, Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant.
